Entering 84th week, construction progress of Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta has reached 52.5 percent.

We are optimistic the construction will be completed in October 2021

PT. Jakpro Corporate Manager Communication, Melisa Sjah said, construction progress was inputted and reported every week. If it slows down, we will evaluate it to speed up the work.

"We are optimistic the construction will be completed in October 2021 or at the latest by the end of the year," he said, Thursday (4/15).

Currently the work is focus on the main truss segment and stadium construction. For stadium construction, her side is currently working on plate formwork, precast stands, pierhead column formwork, concourse, sloping beam casting, steel truss roof assembling, east ramp, and  mockup facade on the south side.  

There are also fire fighting installation, stray and plumbing cable installation work, hvac ducting installation work, and training field area.

"JIS is not only built using green building concept, but also targeted to be multi-purpose venue where it is not only used to hold football matches, but also other major activities such as exhibitions and music concerts," he explained.
